A Message from Cari Breitinger

I would like to take an opportunity to welcome each of parents, grandparents, siblings, staff members, and students to the new Royal Oak High School.

A large part of every high school experience is the involvement in structured school activities whether it is a club or a sporting event and regardless if you are a participant on the field or court or a supporter in the stands or audience. The role of the “ROHSABC” is to promote and support the athletic programs available to the students. The ROHSABC was designed to provide financial support for the athletic programs to fill the gap where the athletic budget falls short.

In order to meet those lofty goals, it takes a lot of volunteers, a lot of time, and of course a lot of money. While we are in our infancy state at ROHS, we bring a wealth of background to the table and I am personally excited to work with the current ROHS board members that have proven they certainly are up to the challenge.

We have spent countless hours building our line of school spirit wear and I can hint you will fall in love with the new “ROHS Collection”. Everyone who is anybody will be wearing it this season. Click here to start shopping!

Our focus is of course fundraising and have identified 4 opportunities to fulfill those goals. We will be in charge of selling school spirit apparel, the concession stands for all sporting events, the annual golf outing and a Comedy Roast to be held over the winter months. All of the items are parent driven, it is important for us not to have the students fundraise on our behalf. It’s another sacrifice we make for them, one of the many.

We ask for your support by joining the membership of the ROHSABC for a nominal fee of $10.00 per household. And of course, all paid members are entitled to vote on items at the general membership meetings held quarterly. Click here to join!

I look forward to meeting each of you through out the year at Royal Oak High School and hopefully at the next ROHSABC Meeting.

Go Ravens!
Cari Breitinger, Chairperson, ROHSABC
